I'm on a roll... Meal planning 2 weeks in a row, maybe a habit is starting to form, i certainly hope so! When my weekly meal plan is done ahead of time it helps me so much during the week, i spend less time (and money) grocery shopping and less time thinking about meals and what the heck i am going to cook.
We will be using a piece of finely sliced Grass Fed Rump Steak in Beef Stroganoff, it hardly needs any cooking, it is amazingly tasty and tender.
Meal Plan for 11-17th September
SUNDAY - Chicken Minestrone Soup - Ideally i will make my own broth in the slow cooker, using one of our Free Range Bannockburn Chickens, but if i run out of time, I keep some of The Stock Merchant Chicken Stock in the pantry as a back up.
MONDAY - Crumbed Lamb Cutlets with homemade potato & pumpkin wedges (try these sprinkled with paprika and tumeric for something different) plus some steamed vegetables.
TUESDAY - Steak on the BBQ with asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, cherry tomatoes and rice.
WEDNESDAY - Bolognaise with pasta or zoodles - Wednesday night we get home late so bolognaise is defrosted during the day ready to just heat up.
THURSDAY - Beef Stroganoff using our delicious Rump Steak, served with rice and steamed vegetables.
FRIDAY - Chicken Schnitzels (Brad makes these in store daily) in bread rolls with coleslaw.
SATURDAY - Homemade Pizzas topped with our locally smoked boneless Leg Ham.
