Do you meal plan and prep food on the weekend ready for a busy week ahead? Meal planning is a habit I fall in and out of but when I am consistent with it life becomes that little bit easier when getting home from work or after a busy day juggling kids, bookwork and everything else. My sister and I are working on meal plans to go with our popular meat boxes however in the mean time i thought i would share what we are eating this week.
MEAL PLAN FOR 2 ADULTS, 2 YOUNG KIDS
SUNDAY - Grass fed Beef & Vegetable soup with Pita bread
MONDAY - Oven baked Pork Chops & roast potato with steamed broccoli & cauliflower
TUESDAY - Grass fed Beef Ribeyes for adults, sausages for the kids cooked on the BBQ served with fried rice.
WEDNESDAY - Bolognaise with pasta or zoodles. This is cooked in a big batch and stored in the freezer for nights we get home late and need something to just heat up.
THURSDAY - Oven baked chicken marylands with roast pumpkin and steamed broccoli & cauliflower. Marylands sprinkled with paprika & salt and baked at 200 degrees for approx 45 minutes. These are so simple but delicious.
FRIDAY - Chicken and vegetable stirfry with zoodles or rice noodles.
SATURDAY - Hamburgers on the BBQ with plenty of salad.
We have fermented vegetables on our plate every night, either homemade or from the great range from Peace, Love & Vegetables. These are now available for order on our website and in store. Check out these and a lot of other great wholefoods that we have recently introduced to our range which is designed to complement everyday family meals.
