WOW, how is it the start of December & SUMMER this week?! And we are still waiting for some consistent warm weather, hopefully it's not too far away. We are still eating a lot of warm vegetables with our meals, as soon as the weather improves we'll be shifting towards fresh salads and lighter options.
SUNDAY - Chicken Mignons (excuse my 'amazing' photography!) Served with steamed vegetables and french onion potatoes, potatoes baked in cream and french onion soup, yep, they are as good as they sound. Our mignons are walking out the door now that people are spreading the word on how tasty they are.
MONDAY - Slow cooked marinated boned leg of lamb served with zoodles or pasta, this is a lot of meat so will serve as lunches for a couple of days too.
TUESDAY - Lamb Pops, if you haven't tried these yet, do yourself a favour, either bake in the oven or cook on the BBQ you won't be disappointed! Lots of vegetables tonight and some roasted pumpkin.
WEDNESDAY - The usual bolognaise, we are mixing it up a bit and having it with some creamy vegetables so that we get some extra goodness in our meal. Although with all of the sneaky hidden veg this is very nourishing anyway!
THURSDAY - Beef stroganoff, I use the thermomix for this using strips of Grass Fed Beef Rump and serve with zucchini or cabbage noodles, for the kids steamed rice. I'll share a link to the recipe on Facebook.
FRIDAY - Home made pizzas. YUM.
SATURDAY - Baked Potatoes, very easy to prepare, some onion and bacon cooked on the BBQ with some coleslaw, garlic butter and grated cheese.
