Thank you to everyone that has been asking when we will be starting the Meal Plans up again, it's lovely to know that you like what we do! Things have been very hectic with the shop and planning our wedding so we have been throwing together meals without too much forward planning, as long as there is plenty of fresh veggies and salad ingredients in the house we can pull together a pretty delicious meal most nights :)
With only 4 sleeps (!) until the wedding, 9 sleeps until Remy starts school and 10 sleeps until Ivy starts Kinder, it's time to get things back on track and start to plan ahead again. It's going to be a busy couple of weeks!
SUNDAY - We are going to pop a Honey Mint & Rosemary marinated boned out leg of lamb in the slow cooker so that it can cook away as we spend the day outside. We'll serve this with wraps and salad as it will just fall apart with tenderness when we pull it out at the end of the day.
MONDAY - Chicken Chops baked in the oven with some Lemon and Garlic Salt sprinkled on the top. Served with these delicious creamy vegetables.
TUESDAY - Grass Fed Beef Rib Eyes and Sausages cooked on the BBQ served with coleslaw and home made oven baked chips. These steaks have been a favourite of our customers all Summer, they are so tender and have so much flavour!
WEDNESDAY - We will need an easy meal tonight as we will be busy getting last minute jobs done before the wedding. I think some Honey Soy Chicken Sticks on the BBQ with fresh quinoa salad, I can soak the quinoa in the morning then it is just a matter of cooking the quinoa as I have time during the day and throwing it together with a simple dressing of mint, freshly squeezed orange juice, apple cider vinegar and seeded mustard.
THURSDAY - Who knows what we will be having for tea tonight! I won't give away our Lunch/Wedding menu but it does feature our very popular Hamburgers and some Scotch Fillet steak that Brad has had his eye on.
FRIDAY - I'm guessing we will all be pretty tired by tonight so we will have a super simple meal of tacos using our Grass Fed Beef Mince with lots of salad and healthy fats to fuel our bodies.
SATURDAY - Sausages in bread sounds pretty good to me, although I always substitute with lettuce leaves instead of the bread.
Thanks for reading my ramblings, hopefully you can get one or two ideas to help your week run a bit more smoothly as school starts and the year gets going again.
